Available at the Center for low income families in the South Glens Falls School District: Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM (closed 11:30AM-12:30PM). We currently serve over 80 families per month. Donations are always accepted and needed, especially personal care items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.). ID (Driver’s License) is needed for everyone 18 years and older. A piece of mail with a 30 day or current date stamp to prove residency.
The Thrift store plays an important role in providing quality resale items at affordable prices, while benefiting our charity’s mission. Through the generous donations & drive of the countless volunteers, the store continues to raise much needed resources for our general fund. We strive to show compassion while providing services needed. Free items are available for victims of disasters.
Open daily M-F from 10AM-2PM. Very affordable. We are always in need of donations from the community of slightly used, clean, and in good condition, clothing and shoes. Our storage space is limited so please donate ‘in season’ clothing only.
The Thrift Store is completely run by a team of dedicated volunteers. We thank them for their service for if they did not commit their time, this service would not be maintained.
The Moreau Community Center serves as satellite offices for Saratoga County’s WIC programs, Legal aide, NYS Family Health Plus Insurance, and Fidelis Care. All services are available by appointment.

The Saratoga Hospital’s Health Insurance Navigation Program has a warm, friendly staff who will help you enroll in the New York State of Health Marketplace. Their services are free and information is kept confidential.

Learn about health insurance options that are right for you through the Adirondack Health Institute’s Enrollment Assistance and Education program. AHI assists individuals, families and small business owners enroll in health insurance coverage through the NYS of Health Marketplace. We serve seven counties; Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren and Washington. We don’t charge and we are not an insurance company.

Every day our staff helps individuals get the information they need, from how to apply for the STAR Program, HEAP, food assistance, Prescription Insurance (EPIC), Medicare Basics Program (OFA), to taxes and federal cell phone applications. We stand ready to assist when needed. If we do not have a resource for your need we will do our best to find one.

The Center also has a wide selection of books for community members to borrow through our ‘Lending Library’. Donations from the community are always appreciated.

Celebrate Memorial Day with a home-town parade and ceremony! The parade will begin at 6 PM starting at the corner of Main St. and William St. and continue down Main St. past the Moreau Community Center to the Village Triangle Park.
Our Community Dinners are one of the Center’s major fundraisers. Please join us for an ever popular get-together for family, friends, & neighbors. Enjoy homemade meals and desserts or a specialty sponsored dinner highlighting a local restaurant’s entree. Can’t join us but would like to provide your family with a warm, home cooked meal? Try our take out feature. Call ahead to order for pick up the evening’s dinner for your entire family. This idea is for our busy families with sports or other family activities, who don’t have the time to cook dinner. Let us do the cooking for you.

Free for not-for-profit organizations! If you would like to hold a private party the cost is $100 the first two hours, $35.00 each additional hour. Call for space availability. Room capacity is 200.

Through support and donations from the friends of the Center, families in the South Glens Falls School District are provided traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, along with clothing and toys for Christmas. This program is funded through the support and donations of our community. Eligibility is based on income and residency in the South Glens Falls School District. Applications are available October 1st at the Moreau Community Center between the hours of 8AM-4PM. Thanksgiving and Christmas applications are due November 2nd. Christmas only applications are due December 1st. .
