Emergency Food Pantry
Available at the Center for low income families in the South Glens Falls School District: Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM (closed 11:30AM-12:30PM). We currently serve over 80 families per month. Donations are always accepted and needed, especially personnal care items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.)
Clothing Thrift Store
The Thrift store plays an important role in providing quality resale items at affordable prices, while benefiting our charity’s mission. Through the generous donations & drive of the countless volunteers, the store continues to raise much needed resources for our general fund. We strive to show compassion while providing services needed.
Open daily M-F from 10AM-2PM. Very affordable. We are always in need of donations from the community of slightly used, clean, and in good contidion, clothing and shoes. Our storage space is limited so please donate 'in season' clothing only.
The Thrift Store is completely run by a team of dedicated volunteers. We thank them for their service as if they did not committ their time this is a service we would not be able to maintain.
Scheduled transportation to supermarkets, shopping malls, luncheons, pharmacies, banks, discount stores and doctor’s appointments for disabled and senior citizens. Bus runs Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-3:30PM. Entertaining and fun trips to various locations in the Capital District. Call the Center for our latest trip. Approximately 134 residents utilize this service montly. A $3 donation is appreciated for local destinations. Additional fees may be charged for some trips and venues.
Saratoga County Satellite Offices
The Moreau Community Center serves as satellite offices for Saratoga County's WIC programs, NYS Family Health Plus Insurance, and Fidelis Care. All services are available by appointment.
Saratoga Hospital's Health Insurance Navigation Program
Need Insurance? We are here to get you full medical coverage!
The Saratgoa Hospital's Health Insurance Navigation Program has a warm, friendly staff who will help you enroll on the New York State of Health Marketplace. Their services are free and information is kept confidential.
Please call toll-free, 1-888-242-1418. They will screen you over the telephone and make an appointment in one of their 16 locations in Saratoga County. The Moreau Community Center is one of their 16 locations.
Information and Referrals
Everyday our staff helps individual get the information they need, from how to apply for the STAR Program, HEAP, food assistance, Prescription Insurance (EPIC), Medicare Basics Program (OFA), taxes and federal celll phone applications. We stand ready to assist when needed. If we do not have a resource for your need we will do our best to find one.
Crandall Public Library's Outreach service provides library materials to homebound seniors.
Library hours are held at the Moreau Community Center meal site on a monthly basis.The 2015 schedule is Janurary 27th, February 24th, March 24th, april 21st. May 19th, June 16th, July 14th, August 11th, Spetember 8th, October 6th, November 3rd, December 1st & December 29th. (11:45AM)
Visit to individual homes can also be arranged as needed. If you are in need of Outreach Services or for more information contact the library at 792-6508 ext. 256.
The Center also has a wide selection of books for community members to borrow through our 'Lending Library or to purchase from our SALE TABLES. Donations from the community are always appreciated.
Every Thursday night at St. Michael’s Church (80 Saratoga Ave, SGF)! $1400 prize give-away, 2 split pot games, progressive game, bell jar, and lots of great food! Doors open at 5PM, BINGO starts at 7PM. Call 792-6007 for more information. 18+ Only

Community Dinners and Memorial Day Parade Cookout
Our Community Dinners are one of the Center's major fundraisers. Please join us for an ever popular get-together for family, friends, & neigbors. Enjoy homemade meals and desserts or a specialty sponsored dinner highlighting a local retaurant's entree. Can't join us but would like to provide your family with a warm, homecooked meal? Try our take out feature. Call ahead to order for pick up the evenings dinner for your entire family. This is idea for our busy families with sports or other famly activities,who don't have the time to cook dinner. Let us do the cooking for you.

Restaurants, Dinner, Deli's or others interested in showcasing one of your delicious entrees at one of our specialty sponsored dinners contact us now. This is a great way to gain exposure for your business while supporting a great cause.
Paul Schultz Memorial Golf Tournament
Held at Airway Meadows Golf Club. 4 person scramble. Many prizes! Entry fee includes, golf, cart, breakfast and Lunch! Call us for date and registration form!
Community meeting space available for local businesses and service organizations. Available also for special events such as birthday, anniversary and retirement parties and bridal showers. Free for not-for-profit organizations! If you would like to hold a private party the cost is $100 the first two hours, $35.00 each additional hour. Call for space availability. Room capacity is 200.

The Moreau Community Center Block Party
Join us for food, animals and fun the second Saturday in September. Vendors welcome. Call us for a spot.
Holiday Caring Program
Through support and donations from the friends of the Center, families in the South Glens Falls School District are provided traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, along with clothing and toys for Christmas. This program is funded through the support and donations of our community. Applications are available in October at the Moreau Community Center between the hours of 8AM-4PM. Thanksgiving and Christmas applications are due November 2nd. Christmas only applications are due December 1st. To download an application click here.
