Born and raised in California, I moved to Upstate New York in 1989, where my parents were originally from. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the State University of New York at Albany and soon discovered my passion for community recreation and programming.

My career began at the Northumberland Youth Center, where I spent four years running both the summer camp and year-round drop-in center for local youth. From there, I accepted the role of Activity Director at the Cohoes Community Center, overseeing a wide variety of programs for all ages. During my eight years there, I expanded community offerings and successfully secured several grants that helped strengthen and grow the Center.

My next chapter took me to the Town of Wilton, where I served as Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for 15 years. In that role, I oversaw youth basketball and soccer programs, managed a summer camp serving 250–300 children each year, helped establish the foundation for Wilton’s Spray Park, and assisted in developing the Town’s popular Park Fest event. It was truly a privilege to serve the community and work alongside so many dedicated families and staff members.

Today, I am the Activity Director at Coburg Village Retirement Community—often known as the “Queen of Fun.” While much of my career focused on youth programming, I have found these “older kids” to be just as inspiring and energetic. At Coburg Village, I have expanded fitness opportunities, increased live entertainment offerings, and introduced a variety of engaging programs that promote wellness, connection, and fun.

I am excited to be a part of the Moreau Community Center and look forward to contributing my experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping our community thrive.
