Liz Wilcox is a transplant to NY from the West Coast and has spent the last 20 years putting down roots here in South Glens Falls.  She has a long history of volunteerism with arts and cultural organizations and is the co-founder of local arts organization Art in the Public Eye, which produces community events including the Third Thursday Art Walk and 24-Hour Playfest. Ms. Wilcox is also the former co-owner of Glens Falls’ eclectic eatery Samantha’s Cafe and Catering. Following the sale of the cafe in 2018, Ms. Wilcox has been able to combine her work life with her enthusiasm for community service through her position as the Manager of Membership and Recruitment for Girl Scouts or Northeastern NY. Liz is thrilled to be the newest member of the Moreau Community Center Board of Directors and looks forward to working with staff and volunteers to deliver the center’s mission, vision, and core values to our community.
