Holiday Caring Program

Our annual Holiday Caring Program provides holiday meals and gifts to 100’s of income-eligible South Glens Falls residents. Applications for Thanksgiving and Holiday meals, as well as children’s holiday gifts, are taken by appointment. Contact Rosemary at (518)792-6007 x12, rosemary@moreaucommunitycenter.org.

Food pantry

We remain committed to fighting hunger and food insecurity. Proudly partnered with the Regional Food Bank of NENY, our food pantry is open to residents of the South Glens Falls CSD for use once every 30 days. The pantry provides food for three days once per month to pre-qualified families. While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are preferred for timeliness of service.

Hannaford Food Outreach Program

Monday & Wednesday at 10am
Through a partnership with the South Glens Falls Hannaford, we provide produce, deli, bakery, and meat items to residents who need a little “hand-up”. Open to all our tri-county neighbors. For more information, contact Rosemary, 518-792-6007 x12 | rosemary@moreaucommunitycenter.org.

Tax Prep Services

Thanks to partnerships with AARP and VITA, seniors, income-restrained families, and individuals may be able to file their yearly taxes for free! For more information contact:

Gather & Dine

Why eat alone when you can make new friends and memories at the Saratoga Country Office for the Aging “Gather & Dine” site hosted by the Center? If you or a senior you care about would benefit from the meal site or a home-delivered meal, contact the Saratoga County Office for the Aging at 518-884-4100.

Healthy Bones for Life

“Healthy Bones for Life” is Saratoga County Office for the Aging led program designed for men and women over age 50 to promote bone health. This low-impact exercise program, less than an hour in length, consists of weight-bearing exercises, muscle strengthening, flexibility, posture training, and balance exercises. To register, contact Saratoga Office for the Aging at 518-844-4100.

Form Completion

Sometimes making sure that you’ve dotted the “I’s” and crossed the “t’s” can be overwhelming. We can help! We have staff who understand various assistance programs and can help you navigate the red tape and complete required forms. For more information, contact Rosemary at 518-792-6007 x12.

Dial-A-Bus

Our Dial-A-Bus provides transportation for medical, social, recreational, and every day life errands to disabled and 55+ members of the community. To be picked up by Dial-A-Bus, you must reside in Moreau or South Glens Falls. Outside residents may utilize the bus but must have transportation to the Center.
