Get Ready to Party Like It’s the 1980s!: Moreau Community Center to Host 80s-Themed Trivia Night

South Glens Falls, NY – Break out your neon, tease up your hair, and dust off your trivia skills! The Moreau Community Center, located at 144 Main Street in South Glens Falls, is hosting a 1980s Theme Trivia Night on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 PM.

Eighteen teams of four will compete in seven rounds of ten questions covering all things 1980s—music, movies, pop culture, and more! Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite retro outfits for a night filled with nostalgia and friendly competition. Prizes, generously donated by local businesses and community organizations, will be awarded to the top three teams. Guests will also enjoy beer, wine, soft drinks, food, door prizes, and raffles throughout the evening.

Tickets:

• $25 per player (includes lots of food and one adult beverage or soda)
• $10 per spectator (includes food)
• Additional adult beverages available for a $5 donation

“We’re thrilled to bring this event back—it’s always such a blast!” said Donna Nichols, Executive Director of the Moreau Community Center and self-proclaimed trivia buff, who will serve as the evening’s Trivia Master. “Since its debut in 2019, this event has become a community favorite. We’re looking sponsors to help make the night a success, and we’re grateful for everyone who supports our mission. This is always a sell-out event, so we encourage players to sign up early!”

All proceeds from Trivia Night will directly benefit the Moreau Community Center’s programs, including the food pantry, thrift store, senior programs, Skills4Life Career & Life Assistance Program, Bulldog Zone after-school teen program, Kids Korner before and after-school program, and various educational and social initiatives. Founded in 1977, the Moreau Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals of all ages in northern Saratoga County and surrounding parts of Washington and Warren Counties.
