“Harry Potter Themed Trivia Night Benefit for Youth Programming at The Moreau Community Center”

South Glens Falls, NY: The Moreau Community Center, 144 Main Street in South Glens Falls will host a Harry Potter-themed Trivia Night on October 13^th, 6:00-9:00 pm. Doors open at 5:30. Eighteen teams of four will answer seven rounds of ten questions, one category related to “Harry Potter”. Attendees are encouraged to wear their finest Harry Potter garb. Prizes donated by community organizations will be awarded to the top three teams. Tickets are $25 per player/$10 per spectator and include plenty of finger foods and one adult beverage or soda. Door prizes and a 50/50 are available. Additional adult beverages are available for a $5 donation.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer this event again,” said Donna Nichols, Executive Director of the Center, self-proclaimed trivia buff and Trivia Master for the evening. “Our first year was in 2019 and it was lots of fun. This event is really becoming a bi-annual favorite in our community. We are looking for players and sponsors to support the evening, and thankful to all who help us support our youth programs.”

All proceeds will benefit The Moreau Community Center Youth Programs which include a preschool, Kids’ Korner before-and-after-school program, Camp Moreau Summer Camp, a weekly backpack food program, and the weekly Bulldog Zone after-school teen program.

Founded in 1977, the Moreau Community Center, a 501(3)c not-for-profit organization, is one of the major human service agencies serving citizens of all ages in northern Saratoga and surrounding parts of Washington and Warren Counties.
