South Glens Falls, NY: The Moreau Community Center 174 Main Street in South Glens Falls will host Flower Power Trivia Night on March 10th, 6:00-9:00 pm. Sixteen teams of four will answer seven rounds of ten questions, one category related to the “flower power” era of the 1960’s and 1970’s. Attendees are encouraged to wear their finest hippie garb of the era. Prizes donated by community organizations will be awarded to the top three teams. Beer, wine, soft drinks, food, door prizes, and raffles will be available. Tickets are $20 per player/$10 per spectator and include plenty of finger foods and one adult beverage or soda. Additional adult beverages are available for a $5 donation.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer this event again,” said Donna Nichols, Executive Director of the Center and self-proclaimed trivia buff and Head Hippie who will be the Trivia Master for the evening. “Our first year was in 2019 and it was lots of fun. This event is really becoming a bi-annual favorite in our community. We are looking for players and sponsors to support the evening, and thankful to all who help us support our youth programs.”

All proceeds will benefit The Moreau Community Center Youth Programming which includes a preschool, Kid’s Korner before-and-after-school program, Summer Lunch Bunch, weekly backpack food program, and the newly formed weekly Bulldog Zone teen program.

Founded in 1977, the Moreau Community Center, a 501(3)c not-for-profit organization, is one of the major human service agencies serving citizens of all ages in northern Saratoga and surrounding parts of Washington and Warren Counties.
